A little about me...

I discovered my passion for material innovation during my time at Savannah College of Art and Design, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Fibers in 2023. I was initially drawn to print and pattern design, and my first pattern collection emerged from recognizing a critical gap in the chest binder market. While sports bras and compression garments were widely available, chest binders lacked inclusive options bridging skin-tone and rainbow pride designs. This project was the first time I realized I could design with empathy and a purpose beyond myself.

My current work in the University of Oregon MS Sports Product Design program focuses on knitwear innovation and material exploration. I aim to challenge traditional notions of textile permanence by integrating technology with material design—creating textiles that can keep pace with rapid trend cycles, offering adaptable alternatives to overproduction and overconsumption.
